Terms and Conditions
Before proceeding with registration as a member of the Blue Bird High School Alumni Association, please carefully read and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
- You must be a former student of Blue Bird High School to register as an alumnus.
- Accurate and truthful information must be provided during registration. Any misleading or false information may result in the termination of your alumni status.
- Registration is open to all alumni, regardless of location or graduation year.
2. Personal Information
- By registering, you agree to provide the necessary personal details, such as your name, email address, phone number, batch year, current occupation, and any other required fields.
- You agree that your personal data may be used by the association for communication purposes, including event notifications, newsletters, and updates related to alumni activities.
- Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
3. Document Uploads
- As part of the registration process, you may be asked to upload a certificate verifying your alumni status and a photograph.
- Uploaded documents, including certificates and photos, must be in the required formats (PDF for certificates, JPG/PNG for photos) and must not exceed 2 MB in size.
- The documents will be stored securely and used solely for the purpose of validating your alumni registration.
4. Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your email and password.
- Any activities that occur under your account are your responsibility. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify the association immediately.
- The association reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if there is any suspicion of security breaches or violation of these terms.
5. Participation in Alumni Activities
- As a registered member, you will have the opportunity to participate in alumni events, activities, and forums. By participating, you agree to adhere to the community guidelines and conduct yourself in a respectful and professional manner.
- The association reserves the right to revoke membership for behavior that disrupts the community, violates any applicable laws, or harms the reputation of the association.
6. Data Protection and Privacy
- The association is committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. All data provided during registration will be stored securely and used in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
- You have the right to access, modify, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time. For any requests regarding your personal information, please contact us.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
- Any content submitted by you, including testimonials, stories, or media, as part of alumni activities or events, may be used by the association for promotional purposes, with proper credit given to the contributor.
- You retain ownership of any content you submit but grant the association a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute such content in connection with alumni-related activities.
8. Modification of Terms
- The Blue Bird High School Alumni Association reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Any changes to the terms will be communicated to registered members via email or website notifications. Your continued participation as a member will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Termination of Membership
- You may cancel your membership at any time by submitting a written request to the association.
- The association reserves the right to terminate your membership for violations of these terms, failure to provide accurate information, or any conduct deemed harmful to the association or its members.
10. Limitation of Liability
- The association will not be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages that result from your participation in alumni activities or your use of the website.
- Any disputes arising from your membership will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the association operates.
